From 27 January 2013 CityJet will be flying to the historic German city of Nuremberg from London City Airport.
The year-round service will operate two flights weekdays and one on Sundays.
The 1,000-year-old city is Bavaria’s second largest. It plays host to several of Germany’s and Europe’s largest trade fairs and one of the continent’s most famous Christmas markets.
Nuremberg is also birthplace of the Nurnberger Bratwurst – a shorter version of the famous German sausage. Another speciality, particularly prevalent at Christmas, is Nurnberger Lebkuchen – gingerbread.
